The day has officially come. Gemma can now crawl! She's getting pretty good at it too. Although she prefers to walk along the coffee table and the couch I do my best to make her crawl. There were a lot of tears, yells, and face shovings into
the carpet
(well... All those things are still happening) but she has finally done it!
Gemma is also making this particular face when she is either very happy or very sad/mad. She opens her lips as much as she can, closing her eyes as much as she can, and then bites her gums together. It's pretty dang cute!
I LOVE being a mom. It is the best thing I have ever chosen to do. Even though there are tough days (like yesterday ... I think she is teething... So a LOT of fussiness) it's the best thing ever! I love having a little person to take care of and cuddle and see grow up. It's amazing how much a little human can grow in less than 8 months. I wish I progressed that much in that amount of time!
